In 2024, Barracks Row Main Street hosted a series of vibrant events that enriched the community's cultural and social landscape. The year commenced with the Mardi Gras Celebration, featuring lively parades, music, and traditional festivities that brought the spirit of New Orleans to 8th Street SE. In May, the "May the 4th (Force) Be With You" weekend delighted Star Wars enthusiasts with themed activities, cosplay, and movie screenings, transforming the area into a hub for fans of the franchise. On July 4th, the community came together in a patriotic display to attempt a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title for the largest human image of an ice cream cone, showcasing unity and creativity. The highlight of the year was "Art All Night - Masquerade: The Art of Magic" on September 27th, where attendees enjoyed enchanting performances, art exhibitions, live music, and interactive installations, all under a magical masquerade theme. These events not only provided entertainment but also strengthened community bonds and celebrated the unique culture of Barracks Row.
